Actually I bought them from a recycling charity who seemed to be renovating them. Oswestry council had changed their refuse wagons and then had to change the wheelie bins to meet the handling mechanism of the new wagons. I paid a tenner each. You can buy them from farm and building supply companies, usually £25 plus VAT.
Car boot season starts after easter. Wheelie bins are the property of the council and therefore not for general resale.
They are very handy for collecting leaves, storing grit and salt and animal feeds.
What else could you use a wheelie bin for?
