Robin Hood Half Marathon - S~unday, 10th September

Having just got back from 2 weeks on the Costa del Sol and not run at all I really need to get a couple of long runs in before next weeks half marathon.

This event marks the start of my training for London. If I can run a half in about 2 hours I'll be satisfied.

Ironman event postponed

The training was going so well, I was up to 12 hours per week with double sessions some evenings. In the end I realised that family and the business needed more of my time. I was finding it difficult to exuse myself at work and from time ferrying the kids around to their after school events. So Ironman Germany is off. Not forever - it's still very much something I plan to do but not in the immediate future. In the next two to three years perhaps.

In the meantime I'll continue to focus on the running...
